Celebrating discovery at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences

Posted September 20, 2017

When you think about innovative research in the arts and sciences, do you think about bats? Films? Ancient Egyptian ruins? Those are topics studied by several faculty members highlighted in a video released by the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences this fall. Many of the featured scholars have received support from gifts made to the Rising to the Challenge campaign. Please click on each name to learn more about how their work is supported by philanthropy.

These faculty, in order of appearance in the video, are:

  • Chuck Bennett, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy
  • Nicholas Papageorge, Broadus Mitchell Assistant Professor of Economics
  • Cynthia Moss, Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences and Neuroscience
  • Lawrence Jackson, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of English and History
  • Roberto Buso-Garcia, Amy and Roger Faxon Lecturer in Film and Media Studies and Director of the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund in Film and Media
