Advancing Discovery and Creativity

Creating Opportunities and Fueling Progress

Through your gifts — at all levels — we will give our faculty members and clinicians the resources and tools they need to change the world.

Endowed Professors Team Up Against Pain

Solving Our Most Complex Problems

The relentless spirit of our faculty members and clinicians is reflected in the distinctions they have earned in 140 years of work — the Nobel Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Lasker Award, sometimes called the “American Nobel.” Across decades and disciplines, we have measured the age, shape, and composition of the universe, and led path-breaking developments in pediatric cardiology and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. We have authenticated the Dead Sea Scrolls, designed the proximity fuse that helped to defeat the Axis powers in World War II, and developed the system of water purification through chlorination.

Today — in the arts and sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, nursing, and public health, business and international relations — the women and men of Johns Hopkins continue to serve as world leaders, solving our most complex problems and making the world a better place. With your help they can do more.
