Rising: The Whiting School of Engineering

Redefining What is Possible

As part of the Rising to the Challenge campaign, the Whiting School of Engineering will raise $275 million in support of four strategic priorities that will help us redefine what is possible in engineering: educating for leadership, leveraging data to knowledge, engineering human health, and improving global well-being and security. Partner with us to achieve these priorities and by contributing to the following goals:

Support for People

Establish new scholarships and fellowships for students, invest in experiential learning opportunities, endow professorships to recruit and recognize the very best faculty, and expand our master’s degree programs to prepare future technical leaders.

Support for Programs

Raise flexible funds to provide academic venture capital, nurture and support technical development and commercialization, build an entrepreneurial culture through the establishment of a technology accelerator, and invest in the undergraduate experience to enrich the Homewood campus life.

Support for Infrastructure

Develop facilities that foster and empower collaboration, support a design studio that nurtures innovation, and invest in modern teaching and laboratory facilities for enhanced learning.

Take the Next Step

We welcome your interest in, and support for, our important work. Read the case statement and contact us to learn more:
